Everybody, on earth, is more or less, a victim of contradictory decisions. Its because of a constant fight between the two drivers of life.
One is 'Rational Purpose' that tries to take life along the road to growth and prosperity. It invites challenges against apparently impossible targets. Time, thus, starts silently converting into higher efficiencies and aptitudes and successes start making life more and more bright and energetic.
The other is the 'Instinct' that tries to take life mechanically along the comfort zones of several bitten tracks of temporary pleasure, derived from mere consumption. All temporary pleasures end fast. Life, therefore, alternately stagnates and finally meets frustrations of various form.
Man, though, can't survive without a minimum amount of consumption, yet everybody always has two drivers of life, eagerly waiting. Everybody can independently decide whom to let drive when and how far.
Life is merciless. It never provides you a single thing that you never deserved.
