Lost Fortunes

We, most often, don't know everyday
How many born fortunes silently die
Before smiling at us - "Hi !".

Impulsive judgements,
Obsessive compulsions from instinct,
Addictions to wistful imagination
And ego-driven stubbornnesses
Never lead us
To true growth of this awareness.

For every situation of our past life
May be, we unconsciously buried
A thousand of possible judgements
That we failed to make,
Cause, our attitudes didn't care of
Cause, we didn't imagine of, at all,
That could have been materialized,
While, quite a few of them could lead
To a different level of solutions,
And to the desired satisfactions
Producing rarely brighter smile.

Here comes the need of
Pondering over alternatives
And to carefully appraise,
Even through trial and error
To make us more brilliantly survive.

We need to give
Every single judgement of our life
Enough patience, compassion and time
Like a mother does
To her precious-most only child.
